Product & Team Pivot !!!

Over the past two weeks, we focused on refining and clarifying our final project. We expanded our qualitative research by interviewing a CBT psychology student, an inclusion coordinator, and a professional from the “Haverim” nonprofit, alongside reviewing academic literature on CBT-based therapeutic approaches.

Through this process, we realized our initial concept was too broad and required sharper focus. We therefore narrowed it down to a simple, physical solution: a small ball. When a child experiences loneliness or difficulty during the school day, they can hold the ball. After taking a small step forward, they press it to mark the effort and receive immediate feedback. This action can also be reflected back to a parent or therapist, enabling recognition and reinforcement of progress through small, meaningful successes.

During this phase, Bella (Psychology) and Eden (Computer Science) decided to step away from the final project. The project continues with Amit, Yuval, and Yair, moving forward with strong motivation, shared ownership, and clear direction.

In parallel, we organized both our process and product in preparation for an upcoming mentor meeting, where we aim to receive feedback and further refine our solution.

These two weeks marked a transition from exploration to a focused, research-based direction grounded in real user needs.
